What do you like best about being a part of the Dwight Rudd team?
I value the breadth of experience everyone on our team brings to the table. Our ability to collaborate in our work for our clients is tremendously powerful and exciting to see in action. Whether it’s a decades-long veteran of the industry or someone new to insurance with fresh perspectives, everyone is willing to share their ideas, which results in great service and solutions for our clients.
What do you love to do outside of work?
I love spending time with people I care about—my husband, Elliot, our two kids, and our dogs—as well as extended family and dear friends. I spend my free time eating good food, doing both indoor and outdoor cycling, skiing, knitting, reading, travelling and enjoying interactive theater.
What qualities do you possess that make you successful in your role?
I come from a background in education and am very detail oriented. I love helping people understand insurance—the value it brings and the important role it plays. As Managing Partner, I also enjoy creating a fantastic place for our employees to work—I believe that an engaged and enthusiastic team at our agency ultimately means our clients are happier and better served.
What made you decide to pursue a career in insurance?
I’m the third generation in my family at Dwight Rudd. As far back as high school, a career in insurance was always on my mind as a possibility. Once my daughter was born in 2008, it was the right time for me professionally as well as for Dwight Rudd. Every day, I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to work closely with our clients to structure their insurance programs to best suit their needs and to ensure that they have the coverage they need when it matters most.
